David Perlmutter M.D., a Board-Certified Neurologist, has achieved international recognition for his pioneering advances
in neurological diseases. His scientific publications have appeared in the most well-respected medical journals including:
The Journal of the American Medical Association, The Journal of Neurosurgery, Archives of Neurology and The Southern
Medical Journal.
Dr. Perlmutter lectures worldwide and is the recipient of the 2002 Denham Harmon Award, presented for his efforts in
expanding the knowledge of the role of free radicals in clinical medicine by the American College for Advancement in
Medicine, as well as the Seventh
Linus Pauling Functional Medicine Award,
presented in May, 2002 for his pioneering
work in the development of clinical applications in functional neurology.
Dr. Perlmutter serves as the medical director for the Perlmutter Health Center and the Perlmutter Hyperbaric Center and
is an active member in many health-related organizations including the American Medical Association, The American
Academy of Neurology, The American College of Nutrition, The American College for Advancement in Medicine, The Undersea
and Hyperbaric Medical Society, and The American Holistic Medical Association.
